Nominations Amsterdam Architecture Prize announced!

The ten nominated buildings for the Amsterdam Architecture Prize 2018 are known! What is the best building of last year? Which architect and client will receive the Golden A.A.P. 2018 awarded?

The Amsterdam Architecture Prize (Golden A.A.P.) is an initiative of the Amsterdam Architecture Center, and is explicitly a prize for architect and client. The Golden A.A.P. 2018 will be awarded to the building that, according to the trade and public jury, is considered the best of all construction projects that were delivered in 2017 within the municipal boundaries of Amsterdam. This year the jury of experts consists of Michiel Riedijk (co-founder of Neutelings Riedijk Architects architectural firm), Lisette Breedveld (Team Leader Real Estate Natural Monuments) and Tim Verlaan (Assistant Professor of Architecture and Urban History at UvA and VU). The Public Jury is represented by Nels van Malsen (volunteer Architecture Center Amsterdam and spokeswoman IJburg), Laurens van Dijk (Econometric analyst) and Albert Cohen (lawyer).
